Young Design Squad
The Young Design Squad (YDS), a group of young people with learning difficulties, who range in age from teens to early twenties, are helping with the Rotunda Project.
They are exploring with the museum designers ways in which the new displays can offer information and enjoyment to everyone.

More information is available from the Rotunda Museum website

Learning from the Rotunda Project
Young people, students, museum volunteers, staff from the area's museums and interested members of the public will all have the opportunity to learn from the Rotunda Museum Project.
Opportunities will include learning from architects, museum exhibition designers, specialist museum conservators and other museum professionals.
Workshops, seminars and work placements will illuminate the processes involved in the care and presentation of our heritage.

Conserving the Borough's Geology Collection
A trainee geology conservator joined the Museums & Gallery team in June. Initially, she will be working on the collections to be displayed at the Rotunda and will receive training from museums across the UK.
Watch this space, if you would like to work on this project as a volunteer.
